Entrance
Scholarship Awards are
based on financial need. The purpose of the award program
is to provide some economic relief to international
students studying in Vancouver, Canada who do not have
the economic means to fully finance their English language
training.
The Entrance Scholarship Awards range in value from
$100 to $250 per session and are applied towards tuition. Only
Intensive English courses with a minimum of 24 hours
of study per week qualify.
Tela DeMilo Scholarship Fund
This scholarship has been endowed by the Tela DeMilo
Foundation for all citizens of Central and South America
studying at CEC. Awards arrange in value between $100
to $400 per session depending on need. Only Intensive
English courses with a minimum of 24 hours of study
per week qualify.
How To Apply
- Students must apply directly
to Canada English Center.
- Fill in Application
Form
- Indicate which Scholarship you are applying for.
- Submit a one page letter
explaining how the funds will ease the financial burden.
You will be notified of the CEC Scholarship Board's
decision within 10 days of applying.
All decisions are final. Cannot be combined with
any other reduction of fees.
Permanent
Residents of B.C.
Canadian citizens and those with permanent residence
are eligible for a 75% reduction in tuition fees.
Students must have resided in British Columbia for
a minimum of 90 days to be eligible. Proof of status
will be required at time of registration. Only
Intensive English courses with a minimum of 24 hours
of study per week qualify. |
