Refund Policy

Refunds are calculated on unused Tuition Fees. Refund amounts decrease as time goes on. The table below explains the amount of refund to be paid to a student. Refund amounts are based on the date when written notice is received.

Refund Policy
Canada English Center’s refund policy is in accordance with the Private Post-Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia. To receive a refund of any portion of tuition fees, you must give CEC written notice that you intend to withdraw from the program in which you are enrolled. If a Student Authorization (Visa) is denied, CEC will retain the lesser of 25% of the total fee due or $400. If student cancels in writing before the program starts, CEC will retain the following fees:
Before the Start of the Program
1. If a student cancels less than 7 days after the contract is signed, student will receive a refund for 75% of total fees or $400 whichever is the lesser.
2. If the student cancels between the date of the contract and up to 30 days or more before the start of the program student will receive 75% of tuition fees.
3. If a student cancels less than 30 days before the program starts student will receive 60% of tuition fees.
After the Program of Study Starts
1. If a student cancels their program within six calendar days or 10% of the program, student will receive 50% of tuition fees.
2. If a student cancels their program between 11% and 29% of their program’s duration, student will receive 30% of tuition fees.
3. If a student cancels after 30% of their program’s duration, there in no refund.
