So Many Reasons to Study at CEC

Downtown Location

The Canada English Center is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver close to all major forms of transportation, parks, coffee houses, world-class shopping/dining and trendy night clubs.

Quota System

CEC guarantees a wide range of students from all over the world by maintaining a strict quota system on the number of students from any one country. Diversity provides students with exciting opportunities to learn about many different cultures, make international friendships and business connections.

Start any Monday

A new session begins every 4 weeks (see Start Dates), and for best results we suggest starting on the first day of the new session. If this is not convenient, students may begin on any Monday.

Professional Teachers

All our teachers are Canadians with university degrees and special training in teaching English as a second language. They have been carefully chosen for their professional skills and for their friendly, helpful personalities. Our Education Director is always happy to discuss any concerns you might have. 

Placement Test

On the first day of class, you will attend an orientation class where you will be introduced to the school and Vancouver. A placement test will also be given to determine the right level of classes you require. Monthly exams are given to assess your progress.

8 Levels of English

At CEC there are 8 levels of intensive English courses to choose from. 

Small Classes

Classes are small so students get individual attention from teachers and can participate in class activities.

Certificate of Achievement

The Certificate of Achievement is the official detailed progress report issued by CEC to students who pass their courses.

Canada English Center is pleased to meet you
at the airport. Please provide arrival and departure information on the Application Form.
